While no one knows exactly what the future holds in terms of the mitigation of the COVID-19 virus, the reports we've seen project that it will be safe to gather in larger groups by the summer. It is with optimism that we are planning the "in-person" portion of our event, as we *can't wait* to gather again with our Great Game friends - undoubtedly some of the coolest people in business!
That being said, please know that we are taking coronavirus - and your health - very seriously. We are working closely with the Hilton Anatole Dallas, who has enacted enhanced disinfecting and serving protocols in partnership with the maker of Lysol and Dettol. In addition, we have been and will continue to monitor announcements and recommendations from local, state and national health officials and will take any necessary measures to protect our guests, staff and vendors.
No Risk Registration Guarantee: We want you to register for the in-person portion of our event (the Dallas Experience) without concern for your personal safety, especially not knowing exactly what course COVID-19 will take in the months leading up to the conference.
*IN THE EVENT YOU or WE HAVE TO CANCEL the in-person portion of our event, we will convert every ONE Dallas Experience registration into THREE Digital Experience seats.*
In addition, rest easy knowing that you have until August 18th to cancel your in-person registration (the Dallas Experience) without penalty and with a full refund. (click here for full details)
| YOUR HEALTH IS OUR PRIORITY |
While there may be building concerns about travel and meeting due to the COVID-19 Delta variant, we want you to know that your well-being and safety are of utmost importance to us. We are monitoring the situation and working closely with the hotel to ensure you can focus on the business of meeting, without having to worry about your safety. Please note these new protocols, designed to protect all our attendees, staff and partners:
Masks: On July 27th, 2021, the CDC recommended that even fully vaccinated people wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.
Dallas, Texas (Dallas Co.) is considered a high transmission area, so we STRONGLY RECOMMEND all attendees wear a mask while in conference sessions and other public areas of the hotel. It is appropriate for masks to be removed while eating and drinking, and for speakers when they are presenting at a social distance.
The CDC guidelines will be frequently monitored and attendees will be kept apprised if changes are made regarding the transmission area and/or mask recommendations.
Social Distancing: To the extent possible in the space we have, we will be setting tables and chairs for physical distancing. Additionally, attendees will be able to communicate their level of comfort in social interactions by selecting and wearing a wristband that conveys their preference:
• Red: Happy to be here, but respectfully request no contact. A nod and wave with conversation is perfect.
• Yellow: Getting more comfortable, but still a bit cautious, elbow bumps and conversation welcome.
• Green: A “good to see you” welcome handshake or hug works for me.
Cleanliness Protocols: Expanding on the elevated sanitation standards of the Hilton CleanStay program in partnership with the maker of Lysol, the hotel staff addresses every touchpoint of the meeting experience. This includes hourly maintenance of high-touch areas such as elevators and bathrooms, disinfecting stations strategically placed in public areas and providing sanitizer and disinfecting wipes, contactless arrival options with the Hilton Honors app, and the use of hospital-grade cleaners in upgraded cleaning protocols.
