Katie Davis has a Masters in Nonprofit Management from the University of Missouri and has worked in the nonprofit field her entire career. As CEO, she led Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks to success adapting the open-book management philosophies found in the The Great Game of Business®. After one year of full implementation, the agency exceeded $1 million in revenue, which was a 22% increase over the previous year, expanded services by 17%, and received recognition locally and nationwide. This recognition included being awarded the 2015 mid-size Agency of the Year by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and receiving the Pioneer Award at the 2016 Gathering of the Games.
After nine years (six as CEO) at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, Katie stepped down in September of 2016. Now the owner of Dream Big Consulting LLC, Davis has partnered with the Great Game of Business to create the Great Game® for the Social Sectors. This new venture is aimed at creating workshops and training programs designed to help organizations in the nonprofit and public sectors adapt the proven principles of open-book management.
