Brenda Wilbur is a certified Great Game of Business® coach with nearly thirty years of experience, both formally and informally, leading personal, professional, and organizational change by applying the principals of open-book management and financial literacy.
During the mid 1990’s, she was a Partner and Chief Operating Officer in a systems integration technology company and worked with her employees to create their own Great Game of Business® success story. They were eventually honored as a four-time recipient of Inc. Magazine’s - Inc. 500, a list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States.
Brenda then went on to become a licensed Great Game of Business® coach. She believes “if you’re going to talk the talk, you better walk the walk”, so she and her husband implemented open-book management in their new residential construction company as well. That philosophy led her to coach over fifty companies in various industries including construction & landscape, IT, commercial & professional services, and manufacturing.
As a coach, she noticed a consistent need for financial literacy training among employees and decided one way to influence future business leaders was to become a licensed educator. She went on to teach business and mathematics at both the college and public high school levels. She has recently retired from teaching.
She holds an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts and has recently relocated to the Atlanta area with her husband to be closer to their two grown sons and their families
