Registration FAQs

Do you offer group discounts?
You will automatically receive a discount of $150 per person when four or more conference tickets are purchased in the same registration (applies only to conference registrations, not the All-Access Upgrade or the On-Demand pass). If you have multiple purchases that equal four or more participants when added together but not separately, please contact conference@ggob.com so we may directly apply your discount to all conference tickets.
 
I am a GGOB Community Member / Speaker / SRC Employee. How do I get my special discounts?
To get your discounted rate on the All-Access Upgrade (50% off), use the promotion code ACCESS when prompted.  Unauthorized discounts will be billed to the participant.

*NOTE* The All-Access Upgrade special rate ONLY applies when purchased with a conference registration.

What if I don't know the names for all my registrations yet?
If you don't know the names for all your ticket purchases, please use TBD 1, TBD 2, etc. as placeholders.

How do I add optional Tuesday events when I register?
If you would like to add the optional Wednesday events to your conference registration (CEO Summit, The Great Game Overview, half-day workshops, networking reception), use the All-Access Upgrade. Note that this is only available as an add-on to a conference ticket, and not as a stand-alone purchase.

What if I want to attend a pre-conference workshop or reception, but not all pre-conference events?
In response to participant feedback, we are offering a bundle fee to access everything, including workshops, reception, breakfast and lunch, on the pre-conference day (Tuesday).  If you don't or can't attend all of the events on that day, it's okay!  Even if you are only able to take advantage of part of the offerings, it is still a deal!

How do I add optional Tuesday events if I've already registered?
Simply start a new registration, then select and pay for your optional events.  The registration system will include the addition(s) with your original registration by matching up your email address.

What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel at any time up to three weeks before the start of the conference (until August 20th).

For cancellations made less than three weeks out, tuition is non-refundable, but may be transferred to another course within one calendar year or transferred to another person within your organization.

Any transfer requests received less than one week (7 calendar days) prior to the course date will be assessed a rescheduling fee of 40% of the entire conference registration (inclusive of the price of workshops and receptions). 

Registrants who do not show up for a conference have one week after the conference to notify us of their absence. At that time, registrants have the option to transfer to another course, subject to a rescheduling fee of 60% (inclusive of the price of workshops and receptions). Registrants who do not notify us of their absence within the allotted 7 days will forfeit all funds.

 

Technical FAQs

After great success with PheedLoop the last several years, we are continuing to utilize the company to provide both desktop and mobile access for participants. The platform can be used to access event details and session descriptions, build your personalized conference schedule, update your profile and notification settings, network with other participants, and view recorded sessions (starting 14 days after the close of the conference).

I registered for the conference. How do I access the online platform?
At the end of August, you will receive an email from “32nd ANNUAL GREAT GAME OF BUSINESS CONFERENCE” with sender’s email address: no-reply@pheedloop.com including your login credentials to access the online platform.

Where do I find my login username and password?
If you did not receive or cannot find the email mentioned above, click the "Conference Login" button in the navigation menu above (it will be posted closer to the event date), or go to https://pheedloop.com/conference24/virtual and click the "Forgot Password" link, and enter your email address associated with your registration record. 

Please add the email address no-reply@pheedloop.com to your safe senders list, or check your Junk/Spam box for the email.

Login failed - my username and/or password won't work

Copy and paste your login credentials provided. You may be adding a space or typing in an incorrect character.  Alternatively, go to https://pheedloop.com/conference24/virtual and click "Forgot Password" link. Enter your email address associated with your registration record.

What technology should I be using?
Desktop computer or laptop - tablets and mobile devices are not compatible for all aspects of the virtual event experience

Browser - Download the latest update of any major, modern browser, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari.  Outdated versions may keep some of the platform's features from working properly.

Internet Connection - A high speed internet connection is recommended to participate in sessions without experiencing interruptions. A minimum download speed of 25 Mbps is recommended. You can test your internet speed here. If the stream is working, but the audio or video seems choppy, it's possible that your internet connection is too slow, unstable, or bandwidth is being utilized elsewhere. A hard-wired internet connection is more stable than using a wireless connection.

Can I access the virtual event platform, PheedLoop, using any browser?
We strongly suggest using a modern browser. Google Chrome is recommended for its security and feature compatibility. If you would like to download Google Chrome, please follow this link.

If you have an adblocker installed as well, make sure to disable it when using the PheedLoop virtual platform as you may receive notifications to access your camera and microphone if you use the video chat feature.

General Troubleshooting 

Everybody has different browser configurations and network settings/restrictions which, may require trying a different browser and/or network just to have a clean environment to engage with PheedLoop through. In case something isn't working, to isolate the root cause, we suggest trying:

  • Private/incognito window in your browser
  • Different browser (see Supported Browsers above)
  • Disabling any operating system level VPNs or firewalls which may be blocking a specific website
  • Different network
  • Different computer

How do I network with other attendees?

One of the reasons why we chose to use the PheedLoop platform for our events is the ability for attendees to interact with one another and with sponsors. Once logged in to the platform, click on ‘Networking’ in the menu on the left side of the screen and you will see a full list of all attendees. Simply search for an attendee, click on their name and ‘Start Chat’. They will receive a private message from you, which they are able to respond to immediately.  Fill out the Matchmaking Survey to find out who is most closely matched with you in terms of GGOB experience, job function and industry.

When can I network with other attendees and exhibitors?

As soon as you receive your access to the event platform, you are able to begin networking, and continue doing so before the conference, during the conference and after the conference for 60 days.  

Do I have to let others see my profile?

No, you do not. If you do not wish for others to view you as an attendee, navigate to your ‘Account’ and slide the ‘Profile Visible in Networking Section’ toggle to the left.

How do I edit what others can see in my profile?

Once you are logged in to the event platform, click on ‘Account’ and edit the information in your profile. You can add a profile picture, links to your social media accounts and add information about yourself.

How do I get notified of new private chat messages?
Please click here to follow instructions on how to adjust your Google Chrome browser settings to enable receiving notifications of new private chat messages within the virtual event platform.

How long will the sessions be available later, on demand?
All sessions* will be recorded and registrants will have access to the recordings for 60 days after the event.

The recordings will be added to the event platform as soon as possible after the event concludes, around September 30. [Due to the amount of time required to process the videos and upload them to the event platform, unfortunately, they will not be available immediately.] 

Once a recorded session is posted, simply click on the session in the schedule that you wish to watch and you can view it on-demand, through November 30, 2024.  You will not be able to download or save the recordings.
