Great Game for Social Sectors coach, Katie Davis, attended the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America national conference in St. Louis, MO. Seven staff members from Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star performed a live workplace Huddle for conference attendees to demonstrate what it means to play the Great Game of Business.
Pierce Bush, CEO of BBBS Lone Star, describes the positive impact the Great Game of Business has had on his agency. Pierce emphasizes the benefits of working with a coach to yield positive results on both the financials and the mission.
BBBS Lone Star began playing the Game among its 160 employees in January 2018 and currently they are up $1 million the first half of the year. In addition, they have seen a decline in number of children served for the past several years and this is the first time that their number of children served has increased since 2011.
