Chris McKittrick

Chris McKittrick has been an evangelist for the Great Game of Business® for many years. In addition to numerous visits to Springfield, MO to learn about and see The Game in operation, he has given many presentations and led CPE events on the topic at the national, state, and local levels.

In Chris’ 40+ years of business experience, he has been in leadership positions in audit, financial management, and information systems. These roles have been in a broad range of industries including public accounting, hospitality, gaming, manufacturing, software, public relations/advertising, state government, and professional associations.

His roles have included vice president/chief financial officer, internal audit director, information systems director, information systems audit, reengineering team leader, and corporate/division controller. Chris also has served as director of Members in Business, Industry, and Government for the AICPA.

Chris is currently an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Accounting in the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University. As a full-time and adjunct lecturer since 2010, he has taught almost 10,000 students in undergraduate and graduate classes the importance of financial literacy and the story that numbers tell to all organizations and individuals. Specific topics have included financial and managerial accounting, planning and budgeting, fraud and internal controls.

He obtained both his BS and MBA from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and is a CPA and a CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant). He was a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) from 2009 through 2018.
