Ann Casstevens

Director & Head Coach

Ann is a Coach and the Manager of Quality Assurance at The Great Game of Business, Inc. Though she is a new member of The Great Game team, she is a long-time advocate and practitioner of open-book management and has previously worked with GGOB to implement open-book management in other organizations. She is a talented trainer and facilitator and is often called upon for her knowledge of business process development and management.

Ann holds a degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in Mathematics and Computer Science.  After graduating from college, Ann worked in the Aerospace industry as a Mathematician.  Her need to continually learn more and try new things led her to working with Turkish foreign nationals in establishing a comprehensive training and development program to build fighter jets in Ankara, Turkey.

Beyond the Aerospace Industry, Ann has also work in the Data Communications and Energy Business with her most recent position with American Electric Power, one of the largest Electric Utilities in the United States.  During her time with AEP, she led improvement efforts in Power Plant efficiency and reliability, safety, accounting, knowledge retention and IT systems.

While working in the Energy sector, Ann became an internal Open Book Coach for a Dallas based electric utility, Central and Southwest.  While at CSW, she partnered with the head of Fossil Generation to utilize Great Game as a business strategy to prepare for utility deregulation in Texas.  The Great Game system easily changed the culture of CSW’s Fossil Generation to a Business of Business people in less than 3 years and prepared the business unit to face deregulation in Texas.

She currently resides in Owasso, Oklahoma where she enjoys spending time with her son and supporting his numerous activities.  Ann’s son, Dex is a member of the Pride of Owasso marching band, a nationally recognized band program performing at the Rose Parade and soon to march in the St. Patrick’s day parade in Dublin, Ireland.  Dex is working on becoming an Eagle Scout, he is a soccer player, bowler and all around busy teenager.
